Wine Tasting

Since we've got the room and the spa taken care of...now it's time to start thinking about WHERE we want to sample some primo vino. :) I know we're probably going to The Franciscan...but where else would you ladies like to visit? I know I'd like to revisit Domaine Chandon so that I can watch Judy smoke a cigar while the men in the place salivate! :)

P.S. Now that I'm almost finished with work for the summer, I'm sure I'll be posting stupid blog entires...feel free to tell me to knock it off at any point!

Spa Details...

Alright...here's the low-down. I made the appointments for August 11th. All of our treatments start at 2PM. I tried to get it a bit earlier, but then those of us who are getting an 80 minute treatment would have to begin at 10:30 which is out of the question when on vacation, right?

Spa Wish List

I thought I would start a new post since we're now talking about spa appointments. It wasn't specific online but I'm thinking that I want a "regular" relaxation massage. I love the Pure Relaxation massages at Burke Williams. I don't want a deep tissue one as I don't want to be kneaded like dough. An hour massage is good enough for me though.

I don't have a preference as to "when" we have our treatments as long as it's not too early in the morning.

Thanks for calling the "orders" in Maureen. I can do that if you're too busy though. :)

Another reason I booked this one instead is because it has a nice pool and the other had none. I thought you beautiful bathing beauties might want to take a dip.

If you want to book a spa appt, we should do that this week. What day are we thinking spa and what day wine tasting? I'm thinking relax on Friday and wine on Saturday? That way Tee can join us for wine tasting. What do you guys tink?

One person in each room must have a AAA card. I have one, so someone else needs to brings theirs as well.

Transportation

Since Maureen is busy with the accommodations...I thought I would hit the group up to figure out how we all plan to get to Napa. I'm up for driving or flying. But if we drive from SoCal...then we have a vehicle up in Napa.

At one point Margie had volunteered Steve's new ride, but I know Maureen is also willing to drive. I would drive, but I have a stick and the most I can take is four other people (not comfortably). I'm not sure how many people fit in Steve's or Maureen's vehicle. We do have to keep in mind that luggage will be an issue. :)

So, what's the consensus here? Gas prices suck...but I still think that it will be cheaper than flying. Sorry, Wendell. :(
